Procrastination

Today has been a day of catch up. I have been taking care of obligations that were on the back burner this week…it is such a good feeling to know your responsibilities are being met. On the other hand it is a moment of validation that procrastination may have had a play in the week. No matter the good intentions procrastination seems to sneak into my life and the notion I can always do it tomorrow is the main thought. For everyday chores that may be the truth as we may another time to do the chores, however is procrastination slipping into our daily spiritual life? When contemplating reading the Bible or attending a Bible study, attending church services or interacting in Christian fellowship do we say, “I will do it another day”? Our lives are blessed daily and God’s love is there no matter what our intentions are for the day. As we go about our day let us not forget to give thanks for the gift of Jesus and the strength we receive when walking with Him. Let’s keep the devil at our backs so procrastination doesn’t have a chance… Life is an endowment that God gives each of us. How we choose to treat this gift is a choice. I pray we open this gift of faith and enjoy the blessings that are intermingled with God’s Grace. Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly, to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. So today, with eagerness let us praise God and Jesus for Their love, wisdom and peace… Smiles & Blessings, Cynthia Collins Kaitfors
