Enlarged Territories

Years ago I prayed daily for God to increase my territories…when asking this I really had no idea what I was asking…I just knew I was not doing all that I could. So day after day I prayed to God for enlarged territories.

After a couple of years of this particular prayer my life took a definitive change. After years of marriage I became single…struggling with grief and loss I learned to live alone, cultivate girlfriends, but most importantly I learned to grow as a Christian.

I joined a women’s Bible study, began journaling to God and Jesus Christ on a daily basis and turned my life to our Lord in a personal and up close relationship. I never thought about my life expanding, yet that is what God was doing…enlarging my territories.

It is a joy to live my life for our Lord and nothing but great things have happened along the way. Now that does not mean I have not had many challenging times too, but my trust is totally in our Lord and I do not go crazy with worry or stress.

I thank God daily for enlarging my territories; what I didn’t realize at first…when beginning with this prayer…you must be pruned in order to be enlarged…and you must be prepared for the pruning as it will be difficult at times, however the end product is a life lived with God.

Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait for the Lord shall change and renew their strength…they shall lift their wings and mount up as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

What a joyful life we are given when opening our heart, as we allow God to change and use us. Pray for enlarged territories, a personal life with Jesus and be prepared for the greatest experience of your life.

We Grow in Strength

We live in a world of stress, which can be a “natural killer”…giving our stress and worries to the Lord will eliminate that which burdens our souls. Allowing God to ease the encumbrances and dilemmas that may keep you up at night or hinder your daily life with joy is a gift we receive from God.


Our worries cease as we grow in wisdom, just as our anxieties diminish as we hand them over to God. Living and loving the Lord as we lean on Jesus through our daily lives brings peace which allows our faith to shine brightly.


Worshiping our Lord, praising His name and continually thanking Him for all we have brings harmony into our lives. We no longer worry or live in disorder. It is this discord that brings on those “natural killers”, therefore live with cheerfulness and contentment as we know all will be well.


Psalm 145:20 “The Lord watches over all who love Him…”


Reach out to our Savior, Jesus, as He holds our hand through our trials and challenges. We feel the difference, we grow in strength and hope abounds in us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

A Piece of Faith

There are just some people that shine with the love of God and bring joy to those around them. You see the positive attitude, optimistic mindset and confident self-worth. God is clearly leading their lives and adjusting their paths.


I have a friend who says they have “a piece of faith”…as they bring sunshine into the lives of everyone…Being a Christian that demonstrates love and compassion is walking the walk with God.


We all have lofty goals; yet being one that “shines for God” is definitive as we are then living the life God has prepared for us. At times we forget that it is God who is in control and it is God who has given us a goal...Having that personal relationship allow us the knowledge needed to complete our lives that sparkle with His love.


Loving our Lord and cherishing God’s commands directs our path to success. He will continually guide our footsteps as we allow Him to influence our choices. Through discipline and self-restraint we gain purpose in our lives as our Father oversees our future.


Philippians 1:3-5 I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.


What delight we have when enjoying the life God has provided and to redirect our pleasure to those around us. Let’s remember to treasure all that God has bestowed on us and to be thankful as we praise His name.

Role Model

Lead by example…we have heard this and many were raised with the idea. For decades it was a natural assumption that our leaders whether politicians, movie & rock stars or professional athletes were the role models for the young.


As children grew up they wanted to be just like them. Now days we are appalled at the behavior of many in the “lime light”, as they believe they are above anyone else and are entitled to special treatment and do not need to follow the law or rules.


When did this monstrosity to our society begin? It is such a shame that we have lost the humility and replaced it with arrogance and even sadder that the media highlights the behavior for all to read or see on the news.


Our Lord must continue to shake His head as we humans just don’t get it. When reading the Bible especially in the Old Testament we see the anger of God and how it acts of rebellion against God’s commands were settled by Him.


I heard a statement a few years ago “Christianity is one generation from extinction” (author unknown) and it stuck with me. If we do not raise our children with the grace of God and the love of Jesus Christ our future generations will continue to fall into corruption and arrogance.


God tells us how we must live and Jesus came to earth proclaiming God’s goodness and to treat others as we want to be treated. “Love thy neighbor as yourself”. It seems the enemy has taken control of many as their beliefs are “Do whatever makes you feel good or do whatever you can to be successful”.


Living a life with God is beyond any worldly success as He will guide our pathways to fulfill our purpose. To reach our goals with humility and to be thankful daily for all God has given us. Let’s remember to be reverent, a person of service and to walk in God’s light.


1 Peter 5:5 All of you, clothes yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Raising our children, changing our lives and walking with humility allows our light to shine for all to see. We live by example and train our children to love God and make choices that please our Lord.

Shake Off the Negative

As we begin each day with prayers and thanksgiving we are preparing for all opportunities and challenges. We are putting on the armor of God and holding His shield against all the negative influences.


We must remember that God wants so much more for us than to just get by…to survive the situation…or to muddle through. His plan is larger than all our dreams…He made us and gave us the skills and talents that will bring success and joy into our lives.


With our prayers of thanksgiving we are opening our hearts to His word and receiving the blessings that await us today. There is no greater joy than receiving His love. Let’s keep our thoughts aligned with God’s commands and follow His path.


When we are aligned with God nothing can keep us down or destroy what has been planned for our lives. When we have that negative thought that tells us all will go wrong, we will never be successful or just live with disappointment; shake it off and ignore the enemy as we remember we are only as strong as our faith.


And our faith grows daily…hourly and minute by minute through our prayers and supplications God will take care of our needs, our dreams and ambitions as we rely on Him for all our daily opportunities and joys.


Proverbs 16: 3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your path will succeed.


Let’s rejoice in the Lord and praise His name with our love.

Incomplete Projects

Have you had a day where you began several different projects and after tearing the house or office apart with a need to do some major cleaning find yourself with several different messes? It seems today was my day…

I had several objectives and in my haste I began each one leaving several incomplete. This is the time that I need to refocus and talk with the Lord. It is through His guidance that I become calm and focused on which mess to needs to be finished first.


I love the feeling one receives when talking with God. He brings a sense of belonging and peace that only He can give. You realize after praying that your struggles are considerably lighter and the overwhelming thoughts are gone.


It is our attitude of faith that grows within and touches our soul. We know instantly that God is there and has heard our prayers. He knew our hearts and thoughts before we opened our mouths but waits for us to need him.


Our affections develop a real love for God and it is through our trust in Him that brings even the smallest miracle our way. So when feeling overwhelmed with a mess in the office or home lean on Jesus and follow Him.


Philippians 4:6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.


What a joy to be in God’s family. He guides, directs and steers our lives in the direction He has planned…be prepared to live and serve our Lord with renewed energy and strength.

The Second Opinion

Two heads are better than one”, we have heard this saying for years and at times it does make sense after all if we are brain storming at work, deciding where to put furniture in the house or playing games with a child it is always more fun and enjoyable to bounce ideas off each other.


We also have more confidence in ourselves, feel stronger when in a crisis or attain the peace needed when allowing God to be our second head. When needing wisdom what is better than the source of all power our Lord?


We will live a life of honor and integrity when following God’s commands. It would be like having that second head helping us make choices, set boundaries and pursue the life our Lord has planned.


Our lives have a variety of options but only a few that are aligned with God’s plan. When in doubt seek Him in prayer, when your direction is lost seek Our Lord for the guidelines to success and the wisdom of God will fill our souls.


Psalm 50: 1-2 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.


What a joy and delight to know when we are in need God is there and when we need a second opinion once again He is there. Let’s continue with prayers and supplications that lead us to wisdom and right choices.

Negate the Negative

Have you ever completed a report, paper or assignment on your computer only to find out that it didn’t save properly? How did you respond? Well, that is just what happened to me…I had completed my devotion and when I came back to the computer I realized it was no longer there…


We all have some irritations in our lives, but with the grace of God we are able to complete our work and be joyful. Walking in love with our Lord gives us patience, sense of humor and abilities to accomplish all that God has planned. We are never more than a conversation from our Lord who encourages and supports our endeavors.


It is like having a best friend who is always there, who bolsters our confidence and authenticates our abilities. His love never wavers and confirms our faith as we trust and believe. Our Lord, Jesus established the way and with our devotion He comforts, carries and strengthens our lives.


So whether having a day of irritations or joyful responsibilities let’s remember God is in control. How we respond to our everyday life displays our attitude of faith. Being in fellowship with our Lord allows a calmness that negates any negative thinking. We are able to shine for God and do the work He has given us to do with peace and tranquility.


1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.


Rejoice in the glory of God, praise His name and sing out to the heavens with love.

Exercising Our Soul

Beginning our day with Thanksgiving is like breathing the cleanest and freshest air…it rejuvenates our spirit and jump starts our day with peace and grace. This is the best of habits…it is like exercising our soul…and we know how good exercising is for us.


As we begin this new habit or continue the already established habit it will be our daily bread for the soul. We will begin to crave our time of prayer and personal conversation with God. Can any habit be more fulfilling than a relationship with our Lord?


Let’s bless our Lord not only daily but throughout the day, let’s praise His name for the health and energy to get out of bed with a smile and hope, for the opportunities that await us and for family and friends that love us and who stand fast in time of trials and challenges.


It is through Our Savior, Jesus that provides strength and courage; it is through Our Loving God who provides the peace and mercy to persevere and the Holy Spirit who provides joy in our souls. So as we begin each day with praise and thanksgiving let’s remember it is through trust and faith that brings the delight of God into our world.


Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.


Exercising with God is the ultimate partner in life. Go forth with the exuberance of a child learning to walk…receive His joy and know that He is smiling as we build spiritual muscle and knowledge.

Honoring Our Father

Today is a day to honor Father’s; however we should be honoring “Our Father” on a daily basis. We do this by praising His name, following His commands and loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.


What joy we would share with those around us, teaching our young people the gifts of everyday and role modeling behavior that pays tribute to God. It is a distinct privilege to share the title “Christian” with others.


It is a greater privilege to do the work He has planned for us, to learn our purpose and to witness His love. Every day is a new day to share the Gospel and the miracles of life. Jesus gave the greatest gift…Salvation…let’s go forward sharing His love.


Hebrews 13:15-16 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise- the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others for with such sacrifices God is pleased.


As we honor our “earthly father’s” let’s not forget to continually honor our Heavenly Father through our prayers and praises for we are blessed.

Attitude of Faith

How strong is your faith? Do you walk around with anger or joy? Are you easily upset or do you take life with a grain of salt? When walking in faith we are able to absorb some of life’s little irritations rather than fly off the handle.


It is with God’s love that we do not become instantly angry or upset; rather we take a deep breath and know that all will be ok. Allowing the enemy to take control of our thoughts and actions keeps us from a godly life.


Living fully with the love of God in our soul allows patience and calmness to lead our emotions and reactions that displays an attitude of faith. Let’s bring joy to those around us, tranquility to uncontrolled tempers and serenity instead of anger.


Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.


Be bold in your convictions; stand tall in your faith and walk with trust and devotion to God. Our lives with be peaceful as our attitude with be good-natured with a stillness that can only come from our Lord.

Facing a Prognosis...

I had an email from a girlfriend the other day telling us that her daughter once again has cancer. I don’t believe there can be any worse prognosis a parent can receive…the fear of losing a child…no matter their age.


Yet, as I read the email I heard the love of God shine through her words, the joy of God’s healing once again touch her daughter and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit fill their souls.


This is how we should all live; no matter the circumstance we should incorporate God’s power into our lives, sparkle and glow with our love for Him and stand out in our faith. Dedicating the joy received from God to all in our lives is our gift…let’s be an example for others and walk in faith.


Trusting our Lord in all matters allows us to walk through our challenges with strength, courage and resilience. Knowing God has our lives firmly under control gives peace and tranquility.


Colossians 1:27 God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of the mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.


Our faith and trust showers us with our Lord’s hope and endurance, which leads to our survival from all trials and tribulations. Today I ask for God’s mercy, the healing of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit for all who are facing a prognosis other than complete health.

We Abound in Hope

As the day closes and the sun is set we take the time to say thank you Lord for the day. What did we do with our day? Run from one activity or meeting to another? Did we meet the expectations God had for us? Some days get so busy we forget to take a breath and give thanks.


It is so easy to be self-absorbed, think we are more important than others or feel irreplaceable, so let’s keep our lives in God perspective…Our thoughts should be on others not ourselves, no one is more important than another (no matter what your job) and we are all replaceable.


The joy is we are still one of a kind. God made us unique with special gifts and talents. We are walking the earth for a purpose and if we keep the faith, trust and follow our Lord while believing we will accomplish God’s purpose.


It is exciting to know that He made each of us with a specific goal…at times we may not know what is expect from us, but if we stay in “constant” relationship with Him we hear the call. Doing what He expects, staying away from temptation and following His commands builds our faith as it brings us closer to Jesus.


1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him”- but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.


Go forth with praise knowing we are abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Hands of Success

Have you ever noticed how life becomes much easier or flows much smoother when God is in control? When we allow our Lord to take the rudder and direct us to the goal that is waiting… we encounter much less heartache or roadblocks.


Giving up control and walking with God is the ultimate…He will guide us with His encouragement and lead with His love; however we cannot sit around doing nothing as He expects us to work carefully and do the best we can without complaint.


Waiting for that promotion or new position does not come without faith. We must trust, continue the walk without knowledge of the future and believe that God has the best waiting for us. Working hard, being responsible and competent allows our God given talents to shine, which then puts us on the right path.


Remember idle hands are not the hands of success; let’s not allow the enemy to discourage what God has put in our hearts. Continue with your faith, strong work ethic and believe in yourself. Our accomplishments are the stepping stones of success one builds on another.


Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.


Continue to honor God, thank Him for your talents and skills, and worship through praise and prayers as He guides us to our purpose in life.

Pursue Your Destiny

I have heard the expression, “I just want to be comfortable...People want to enjoy life without financial concerns, poor health or career disappointments. All this is well and good however if comfortable is all we want we are limiting God’s greatness.


Let’s live a life of high expectations…strive for the brass ring…be anything but comfortable. When reaching beyond our comfort level we are allowing God to lead us toward His plan.


God does not expect us to have minimal successes but desires the best, the greatest and the finest treasures for each of us. When living in trust we know that God is clearing our path in order for us to achieve, however if we allow the negative to seep into our thoughts we have hindered our destiny.


Today is the day to dust off our dreams, our secret desires and our life long aspirations to fulfill the hopes and ambitions of our heart. With our faith in God and unwavering trust we can and will achieve all that our Lord has planned for us.


Ephesians 3:17-19 I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.


Go forward with confidence, step out in faith and know our paths have been cleared for the amazing life God has planned. Be joyous in thought, be thankful in all things and be faithful and shine for God.

Strive Toward Greatness

As we prepare for everyday life are we organized, have all the right tools and know exactly what to say or do? Of course not, however God has us well in hand. He has prepared the road on which we are to travel.


The question then would be…which road will we take? As the saying goes…The road well-traveled or the road that has been cleared just for us. It is so easy to get caught up in the peer pressure, television ads or the popular agenda of society, yet it is with God’s guidance that we succeed.


He has incorporated all that we need…we have the gifts, skills and talents…it is up to us to use them through our belief in God and ourselves. It is important to extinguish all negative thoughts and doubts about who we are and what we can accomplish.


God does not lead us to impossible directives, but gently slides us into situations that will allow us to grow and use the talents He has given us. Our Lord has administered the seeds of greatness for each of us in our own abilities. It is our honor to use the gifts.


Matthew 5:13 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bow. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.


What a joy to know we honor God by striving toward greatness…the greatness He has in store for each of us. Go forth as a strong believer praising His name knowing God encourages us each day to achieve, Jesus walks with us with love and support and the Holy Spirit fills our souls with spiritual energy to make the trip.

Proactive in Life

As we begin a new week are we proactive or beaten down. Do we shine with the light of God or hang our head as the enemy steals our joy? As strong believers we must remember that it is with God our strength soars.


Allowing any negative thinking, wrong doing or immoral acts will lead us from God’s grace and abundance. Before getting out of bed each morning praise God for His love, while in the bath or shower praise God for His forgiveness and grace and while driving to work or play praise God’s goodness and mercy.


We live in a time that knows the end of the story…Jesus will return and we will rise and join God and all the heavenly hosts in eternity. What blessing could be sweeter? Living a life that is God approved goes beyond attending church…it is about caring, helping and supporting others.


God expects us to love our neighbor as our selves, which means we must enjoy who we are. Be kind to yourself and then treat others with the same kindness. What a joyful world this would be if we all lived in a God approved society.


Psalm 67: 3-4 May the peoples praise you, O God, may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth.


Every day we are given the choices to walk in love with God, to treat others with love and kindness and to follow His commands. Today let’s begin fresh with the power of our Lord to overcome selfish ways and our lack of concern for others. Remember to be a blessing in order to be blessed.

Living Fair & Just

Many times we hear “it isn’t fair” or “I am not treated fairly”…When did we become an “entitlement” society? I am always amazed when some believe they are entitled to special treatment or that being accountable for less than quality work is not their responsibility.


When our Dear Jesus walked this earth one would not hear him say “life isn’t fair” or “why are they treating me so…I deserve so much better”….Our Lord did deserve so much better and yet, He came to wash away our sins. We did not deserve His love and sacrifice; however He gave it to us lovingly.


It is important to change our thinking from “we are the center of the universe” to being of service for others. When doing our work with excellence, helping others achieve their goals and being honorable we are then living a fair and just life.


It is not up to others to dote on us, spout accolades or go beyond the call of duty to single out one person that believes they deserve attention or special treatment. God knows our hearts, our intentions and our faith.


Living life that honors God is living a fair and just life. Paying tribute to our Lord is our way of being fair and just; as we are nothing without His love, guidance and support. Go forth in prayers for forgiveness and a humble heart.


Acts 10:34 …”Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him…”


If God does not show partiality to anyone but loves and cares for all, it is with that same love and care that we treat others.

We Live in Victory

As we pray for those with needs or new opportunities we must first realize we live in Victory, as we have God’s love. It is a joy to know our Father wants the best for each of us. If we go around miserable, dejected or unhappy we are not keeping our faith aligned with our Lord.


It is through our trust and devotion to God that lifts our spirits and allows our light to shine brightly. Whether we are in a state of disappointment, confusion or disbelief we are still God’s children; therefore we are able to rebuild, reconnect or reestablish our relationship with Him.


We will then feel His love our joy will soar as our load becomes much lighter. Let’s remember we live in Victory…pray for joy and miracles as God continues to shower us with His mercy, grace and wisdom.


Recalling the statement, “He isn’t finished with me yet”…reminds us that God is not finished with us and we have much to do and accomplish with His guidance and support. Through our trust builds our confidence to follow His path and by following His path we are lead to successful achievements.


Psalm 31:3 Be my strong rock, a castle to keep me safe, for you are my crag and my stronghold; for the sake of your Name, lead me and guide me.


We live in Victory as our lives are protected and steered toward our Lord. Praise His name with joyous prayers.

Spiritual Stamina

Prosperity is the will of God…healed and joyous is the will of God…so why is it so many people face trials and tribulations that are weakening the body or bank account? It seems overwhelming at times; yet knowing that our Lord has control should be enough.

When living with an immature faith our trust in God diminishes as the struggles or challengers heighten, therefore it is extremely pertinent that we strengthen our faith by prayers, constant Bible studies (in groups and alone) and stay in fellowship with like-minded Christians.

God may not take away the pains, but He will support our efforts and reinforce our will to endure all that faces us. We are blessed with a loving Father who cares and loves us, but we need to display our Christian faith and trust through our conversations and behaviors.

Trusting God at all times even when all seems lost and dismal is the only true road to God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness. Praise Him each morning with thanksgiving for the new day, pray constantly for all you have and glorify His name through your lifestyle.


Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.


Staying on God’s path increases our spiritual stamina which allows our mental endurance to overcome our obstacles with humility and devotion. I pray we shine for God, live for Jesus and experience the love of the Holy Spirit.

Not Baffled but Uplifted

My three year old granddaughter loves to ride her bike (with training wheels) around the complex with her Daddy. She is completely at ease, doesn’t worry about cars or any other dangers. She just smiles and giggles as they go around and around.


Living as a Christian should be as delightful and full of excitement as the child riding the bike with a friend or family member. God is walking with us and extends His love and care for each of us.


We undoubtedly will have those mishaps that make us sad, baffle our thinking or misguide us to a negative disposition or actions. Yet, if looking at life through the eyes of a child…with wonder, trust and joy no matter the circumstance we will be strong and positive.


Let’s remember a child may be unhappy one moment but then quickly forgets the problem or conflict and before you know it they are playing and enjoying the day. This is God’s expectation of us…when there are problems, hand them to our Lord in prayer and with a deep breath continue with the day.


All our worries and concerns will diminish in size and our load becomes much lighter. So with a heart of a child let’s allow God to lead us, care for us and deliver us from all negative encounters. Begin the day with prayer and thanksgiving as we know God is in control.

Don't Sit Back

When situations arise that are beyond our control… what is our plan of action? Do we hibernate with uncertainty…or do we boldly go forward? Many times we do not have the understanding or fortitude to continue, yet with God’s wisdom we gain the knowledge to persevere.


Declaring our faith builds spiritual energy…we expand God’s power in our souls that increases our capabilities and might. Our Lord is the way...through His graciousness and love He enables us to strive toward His goal.


Let’s live the life God has planned no matter the disappointments, challenges or hurdles, as we remember we are the children of God. Our Lord Jesus walks with us through each obstacle and when we no longer believe we are able to endure the situation He carries us.


There is no greater love than God’s, no greater strength and support than our Lord Jesus and no greater gift than the Holy Spirit. Let’s keep our faith strong and abound in hope through trust and receive the treasures waiting for us.


Colossians 2: 2-3 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of the complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.


With an open heart let God fill you with hope and peace, while the Holy Spirit fills your soul with His joy.

Following God's Path

Living in the secular world we tend to get caught up in what society deems as important, successful and meaningful; yet their value system is skewed to what is popular at the time. Decades before society looked down on divorce, living together and drugs.

Now it is looked at as a way of life; however all one needs to do is read the Bible and know how God feels about the popular lifestyle. It is very plain as to how He wants us to live. Our Lord expects us to be honorable, reach His expectations by following the commandments and to love one another.

It seems so simple yet we are human and the enemy easily infiltrates our mind which weakens our self-restraint and morals. Let’s be certain of God's will…what He wants for each of us and then follow the path on which He guides us.

Look for the miracle in the day, whether it be a smile from a stranger, a new opportunity for a career or continued recovery from an illness. Keep the enemy from your thoughts through constant prayer, following the commands and being kind to all.

Our lives grow and prosper through God’s love…His love is our nourishment for a life well lived. Remember to be thankful each day, to praise His name and be humble in all circumstances.

3 John 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

Walk in love as God walks in us…seek His wisdom in order to know the difference between the secular world and God’s. Sing of the wonders and miracles with pride as we are followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Grow in Spirit

Loving the Lord is so easy, that I am perplexed that anyone would choose to ignore His existence. Life is more accepting, kinder and compassionate when living with a heart for God. We are able to be less judgmental and more understanding…can it be an easier than that?

Our heart fills with joy from the Holy Spirit when aligned with our Lord. He allows us to know that everything will be as it should…even when we are faced with trials, tribulations and challenges.

Loving the Lord is a way of life…it is like breathing the cleanest air that rejuvenates our spirit. We walk with a bounce and a skip that lifts our soul above the stresses and oppositions that could bring us down.

Our lives are given new meaning when we become an everyday Christian, through our commitment to God’s world. We have the power to overcome any situation as God’s strength fulfills our lives.

Psalm 23:6 Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Loving the Lord is having a personal relationship with Him that enables us to grow in sprit and knowledge.

God's Priceless Love

What will the day be like…what are our expectations? Living life with God’s love and promises is beyond anything we could dream. What He wants for us is greater than our most secret wish.


Living life with God’s love supplies our wants, instills His desires on our heart and establishes our relationship with our Lord. We are gifted with hopes and dreams that become real when following God’s path.


Living life with God’s love may require us to step out of the box with the confidence of Jesus as He increases our opportunities that turn into adventures. It is through hard work, diligence, constant faith and trust in our Lord that opens the door to success.


Living life with God’s love ignores negative thoughts that may hinder God’s miracles that wait for us. Yet, we believe and trust in our Lord with a pure heart and prayers to honor our Savior. As we lift our eyes to the heavens, raise our arms with thanksgiving and praise His name in all His glory we give thanks for His love.


Psalm 36: 7-8 How priceless is your love, O God! your people take refuge under the shadow of your wings. They feast upon the abundance of your house; you give them drink from the river of your delights.


Seek God’s grace and mercy; while following the commands for a godly life as you grow rich in His wisdom.

Be a Blessing

We talk about serving God and doing all that our Lord would want from us and in a perfect world that would be an easy feat; however we live in the “earthly” world where corruption and temptation entice us.


What we can do is be a blessing to others because if we are doing all we can for others then we are serving God. Reaching out may be a ride to the doctor’s office, a trip to the store or making a meal for a family in need.


All our extra activities are done with a heart of God and a willing to help friends, families and strangers who need a little God-help. Remembering to be “Jesus-like” is living for God and learning to treat others as we would like to be treated.


The Disney song “Whistle While You Work”, is telling us to be happy in all our endeavors no matter the level of work but to always give quality. Singing praises to God while lifting our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for the ability and opportunities to help others is the blessing we receive from our Lord.


We will be filled with the energy of Angels, the strength of Jesus and the compassion of God, while serving and loving our Lord. Through gladness and delight let us dispense our support and assistance when the need arrives.


Psalm 71: 7-8 I have become like a portent to many, but you are my strong refuge. My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.


Be a godsend to those around you and serve our Lord.

Be Assiduous in Prayer

Our offering to God is living for Him and being a service to our Lord; however there are days when everyday life gets in the way. We have car trouble, woke up late or just felt empty and lacked motivation.


This is the way the enemy pushes us away from God. We become overwhelmed, negative and unable to have a positive attitude. Yet, it is through our Lord that we become strong with a mindset of peace and tranquility.


As we continue to be assiduous in our prayer life we break any hold the enemy has on us, as God is more powerful than even the strongest negative thought. We are given the fortitude and courage to endure all of life’s challenges.


We know through God’s love and care that all will be just as He planned. Continuing our service affords us the gifts of His mercy and grace as we stay constant in our faith. Seek His love with a true heart, stay in continual prayer and conversation with Him and know that our paths are guided by Jesus.


2 Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.


Go forth with a prayer on your lips, love in your heart and peace in your soul as we are the children of God.
