I had an email from a girlfriend the other day telling us that her daughter once again has cancer. I don’t believe there can be any worse prognosis a parent can receive…the fear of losing a child…no matter their age.
Yet, as I read the email I heard the love of God shine through her words, the joy of God’s healing once again touch her daughter and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit fill their souls.
This is how we should all live; no matter the circumstance we should incorporate God’s power into our lives, sparkle and glow with our love for Him and stand out in our faith. Dedicating the joy received from God to all in our lives is our gift…let’s be an example for others and walk in faith.
Trusting our Lord in all matters allows us to walk through our challenges with strength, courage and resilience. Knowing God has our lives firmly under control gives peace and tranquility.
Colossians 1:27 God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of the mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Our faith and trust showers us with our Lord’s hope and endurance, which leads to our survival from all trials and tribulations. Today I ask for God’s mercy, the healing of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit for all who are facing a prognosis other than complete health.
Smiles & Blessings,
Cynthia Collins Kaitfors
