Not Baffled but Uplifted

My three year old granddaughter loves to ride her bike (with training wheels) around the complex with her Daddy. She is completely at ease, doesn’t worry about cars or any other dangers. She just smiles and giggles as they go around and around.

Living as a Christian should be as delightful and full of excitement as the child riding the bike with a friend or family member. God is walking with us and extends His love and care for each of us.

We undoubtedly will have those mishaps that make us sad, baffle our thinking or misguide us to a negative disposition or actions. Yet, if looking at life through the eyes of a child…with wonder, trust and joy no matter the circumstance we will be strong and positive.

Let’s remember a child may be unhappy one moment but then quickly forgets the problem or conflict and before you know it they are playing and enjoying the day. This is God’s expectation of us…when there are problems, hand them to our Lord in prayer and with a deep breath continue with the day.

All our worries and concerns will diminish in size and our load becomes much lighter. So with a heart of a child let’s allow God to lead us, care for us and deliver us from all negative encounters. Begin the day with prayer and thanksgiving as we know God is in control.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Our scripture warms our hearts as we know our Lord Jesus has prepared the way for each believer…praise and glorify His name through thanksgiving and prayers.

Smiles & Blessings,
