Exercising Our Soul

Beginning our day with Thanksgiving is like breathing the cleanest and freshest air…it rejuvenates our spirit and jump starts our day with peace and grace. This is the best of habits…it is like exercising our soul…and we know how good exercising is for us.

As we begin this new habit or continue the already established habit it will be our daily bread for the soul. We will begin to crave our time of prayer and personal conversation with God. Can any habit be more fulfilling than a relationship with our Lord?

Let’s bless our Lord not only daily but throughout the day, let’s praise His name for the health and energy to get out of bed with a smile and hope, for the opportunities that await us and for family and friends that love us and who stand fast in time of trials and challenges.

It is through Our Savior, Jesus that provides strength and courage; it is through Our Loving God who provides the peace and mercy to persevere and the Holy Spirit who provides joy in our souls. So as we begin each day with praise and thanksgiving let’s remember it is through trust and faith that brings the delight of God into our world.

Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Exercising with God is the ultimate partner in life. Go forth with the exuberance of a child learning to walk…receive His joy and know that He is smiling as we build spiritual muscle and knowledge.

Smiles & Blessings,
