Many times we hear “it isn’t fair” or “I am not treated fairly”…When did we become an “entitlement” society? I am always amazed when some believe they are entitled to special treatment or that being accountable for less than quality work is not their responsibility.
When our Dear Jesus walked this earth one would not hear him say “life isn’t fair” or “why are they treating me so…I deserve so much better”….Our Lord did deserve so much better and yet, He came to wash away our sins. We did not deserve His love and sacrifice; however He gave it to us lovingly.
It is important to change our thinking from “we are the center of the universe” to being of service for others. When doing our work with excellence, helping others achieve their goals and being honorable we are then living a fair and just life.
It is not up to others to dote on us, spout accolades or go beyond the call of duty to single out one person that believes they deserve attention or special treatment. God knows our hearts, our intentions and our faith.
Living life that honors God is living a fair and just life. Paying tribute to our Lord is our way of being fair and just; as we are nothing without His love, guidance and support. Go forth in prayers for forgiveness and a humble heart.
Acts 10:34 …”Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him…”
If God does not show partiality to anyone but loves and cares for all, it is with that same love and care that we treat others.
Smiles & Blessings,
