Waking to Joy

What a joy to wake…to see the sun shining through a cool morning as our thoughts turn to the day at hand…Whether we are planning for a day of work or a day of leisure we are blessed…through our blessings we can honor God with our attitudes, behaviors and actions. As we go about our day let us remember to give praises and thanks for an opportunity to sever God. It is all about doing the work God has for us…Showing compassion, understanding and consideration to those in our families, work environment and society. I pray we have put on the smile that allows God’s love to shine through us. Being a member of God’s family is the ultimate gift. Let us share His love, mercy and grace as we begin our week. Our Lord is never further than a conversation…He listens…He hears our prayers and His love sustains us through the day. As we pray for those being challenged with disappointments, illnesses or grief let us lift them up to God. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall make your paths straight.
