Feel His Love

At this time of year more than any other time we want everything to run smoothly. . It seems just when we believe all is well with the world something else crops up and another stressor has been added to life. We have this idea that just because it is the holidays our troubles, concerns and difficulties should vanish. However the illnesses, financial troubles and relationship issues do not disappear just because it is Christmas. So what do we do when faced with this dilemma? We trust God. We continue to lean on Him with our arms out stretched. Let’s remember that our Lord has the power to ease our minds, heal our bodies and lift our spirits. I pray as we all prepare for this very special holiday we give our pain, our doubts and our sadness to God. He knows our hearts and needs...He is in control. It does not matter that we feel weak and vulnerable…Our Lord is there through a simple prayer and quiet conversation. Today I pray we have the courage to reach out to Jesus, the confidence to believe and the wisdom to trust. 1 Peter 5:5-6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. We are blessed with this day…let God bring the light into your soul as we feel His love. Smiles & Blessings, Cynthia Collins
