I heard a quote from Mark Twain when he was talking about Helen Keller and her teacher, Annie Sullivan, “It took Helen and Annie to make a whole person”….this sounded so negative to me…especially in our era of acknowledging all people.
We all have issues, disabilities and concerns, however God has given each of us specific gifts and skills and no one is without a weak link. Yet, as I was praying and thinking about this quote I realized that we are not whole without God and Jesus Christ.
We are never able to achieve all that God has planned for us if we are not filled with His love, guidance and wisdom. Being a whole person in Christ is knowing we can accomplish our desires which, God infused through our dreams and aspirations.
We joyfully live with the strength of our Lord all the time praising His name and listening for His words. Our faith gives us our certitude and assurance that God hears our prayers, needs and concerns. Let’s glorify His name!
Psalm 9:1-2 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
What a glorious day to shout with joy and to know that we are one with God.
Smiles & Blessings,
