What's Your Color?

We show our true colors when disappointed or challenged; how we handle everyday situations displays our attitudes about life and our walk with God. If we see the negative, get frustrated easily or feel sorry for ourselves it is time to look in the mirror.

Living a God-like life takes discipline, structure and faith. It is not all about us but about God…we are to serve Him and with His love, mercy and grace we then understand what walking with God is all about.

Being a “Convenient Christian” allows our attitude to weaken when faced with uncomfortable or difficult times. It is through consistent prayers, unwavering faith and steadfast trust in Jesus that brings the light of God to shine through each of us.

When we shine for God the enemy cannot defeat us, nor infiltrate our thoughts or bring doubt into our soul as we have the full armor of God protecting us. Let’s be led by the spirit as we are governed by God’s commands and guided by the love of Jesus.

Romans 7:15-17 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it but it is sin living in me.

Knowing that negativity can seep into our minds turning our thoughts to “poor me”, “this always happens” or “just my luck” is a sure sign that it is time to change the attitude like we change our oil in the car.

Let’s make sure we have a refreshed spirit with no sludge to slow us down in our growth as a strong, confident and joyous Christian.

Smiles & Blessings,
Cynthia Collins Kaitfors
