As I was l0oking out my window I noticed the rose bush needed the old blooms to be pruned in order for new buds to develop. It is very much like our lives. We must do away with the old in order for the new to develop; we know we must eat healthy, exercise and remember everything in moderation.
Yet, our one indulgence is God…our prayer life should never be in moderation, a positive Jesus filled attitude should be over top and our spiritual growth should be overflowing. Living a life surrounded with the goodness of our Lord is a blessing we never tire of or become satisfied with just a little.
Let’s begin each day with thank-you Jesus and pray for endurance and strength when struggling and praise His name when all is right with our world. God’s love is constant and the power of Jesus Christ is there for all who believe.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Remember our physical health needs all things in moderation but our spiritual health needs to spill over to Jesus. Go forth glorifying God, receive His abundance and experience the joy only our Lord can give.
Smiles & Blessings,
