He Walks with Us

The other day I was talking with a lady about her challenges as she struggles with an upcoming divorce. She stated, "she puts on a smile so those around her do not know her sadness." She is doing her best but feels overwhelmed with grief.

She is no different than any of us when walking through our trials and tribulations…we put one foot in front of the other and wear a mask for the outside world. In extreme times and situations we must be positive, wear a smile and walk with Jesus.

We are who we say we are and we act accordingly. If we go around whining, spouting negative talk and grumbling our attitude will fall in line with this thinking. This is not how the Lord expects us to act or behave.

Walking in the light of God and allowing His love to overshadow any doubts, heartache or concerns is our gift for staying positive and in relationship with Him. There will always be those down days, weeks, or months; however we have the choice to show the world our Christian attitude and love for Jesus.

Psalm 37:24-25 Our steps are directed by the Lord; he strengthens those in whose way he delights. If they stumble, they shall not fall headlong, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

So when feeling overwhelmed, sad or distraught let’s remember our blessings are many as we have the grace and mercy of God as He walks with us.

Smiles & Blessings,
