Constant and Loving

Even when the sun is under a cloud it is a glorious day…after all it is the day the Lord has made. How we accept and treat this day is up to us. Do we go around with anger, frustration or a dismal expression because it isn’t what we had hoped for or is it a day of prayers, positive attitude and smiles (even small ones)?

Living our life as a shining light for God is one of many examples God expects from us. He does not want us hiding our light under a basket…in the basement or up in the attic. No, our Lord wants us to shine for Him and show the world that through our struggles and tribulations we are a resource for God.

The old saying, “Word of mouth is the best advertisement”…is true …How we live our lives and demonstrate our faith to others is a sure example of what it is to be a Christian. Allowing our negative to overpower the positive and the miracles of God displays our weaknesses or our lack of trust in our Lord.

Loving our Father through each and every challenge permits Jesus to work in our lives and to bless us for our faith. We fulfill our purpose by turning to God and having that one on one with Him. He is our strength and refuge.

Psalm 57: 1-2 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in your wings until the disaster has passed. I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me.

How blessed are we to know that God is constant and loving.

Smiles & Blessings,
