God's Patchwork

When looking at a patchwork quilt I marvel at the beauty…it is made of different colors, patterns and textures; yet the details are organized into an array of shapes and designs that are a delight to look at. Our lives are like a patchwork quilt… We have many experiences and incidents that have created who we are. We have scraped our knees, broken a bone or sprained a muscle that gave us knowledge of our capabilities. During our childhood we made friends or lost them depending on our treatment of others… As we went through school we learned what follow through, determination and perseverance meant; and into our adulthood we found that being a loving spouse, parent and co-worker resulted in rewards that last a life time. God has been with us through all our experiences, challenges and successes. We have been made into a patchwork of beauty with God’s love, mercy and grace. Give glory to His name.
