Overwhelming chores

There are days I believe I have it all together and others that totally overwhelm me. Yesterday was one of those days...a project that I thought to be doable became over the top involved and complex. My first thought was just do not do it..after all it is not something I have to accomplish.

But then I could hear that inner voice saying something different. Sometimes we are given chores or projects that will stretch our limits, push us for further growth or increase our confidence. Although my first impulse was to ignore and give up, I realized what ever is put before me I must complete. It does not matter how trying or difficult it may seem I can accomplish it.

Our Lord continues to walk with us, gives us strength and the fortitude to push forward with energy and feelings of a positive attitude...a can do attitude with God's help. This was a good lesson for me as I must remember that God does not desert us when the going is trying, complicated or over the top involved.

Through prayer and trust we will accomplish the task and know when troubled we will be successful. It may have taken longer and we may have had to work more diligently, however the final outcome is worth the time and effort.

My prayer today is go forward with your chores, projects or tasks with that can do attitude. Know that our Lord is accompanying us with our endeavors. We do not walk alone nor work alone...let us rejoice that we have the joy and blessings of God.

Philippians 4:4-7  Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We are blessed knowing that our Lord hears our prayers and fills us with His love, mercy and grace; all the while easing our anxiety through our trust and faith in Him.

Smiles & Blessings
